How Surges Work
Every hit has a 1/150 chance to trigger a Surge.
When a Surge activates:
It lasts 30 seconds.
No charges are consumed during the effect.
Surge cannot activate again until the 30 seconds are over.
Every hit consumes a single charge, even if the surge does not proc.
When all charges are gone, the book becomes dormant (only base stats, no surges).
