This is a significant jump up and worth striving for by any player in need of an upgrade. The gauntlets hit at the same speed as the [[BFG9000]] and have a 1 in 5 chance of dealing 2.5x your max hit in damage to your main target. On top of extra damage, you also will get an extra 10% for drop rate, double drop rate, and luck.
