Template:Shortcut This template creates an image and links it to the page. Unlike {{Pic link}}, it does not create text next to the image
Usage[edit source]

This parameter takes the name of the page that the link is for
pic[edit source]
If included, this changes the filename used; defaults to the first parameter; do not include "File:" or ".png"

In most other cases, pages should be linked with normal markup and without an image.
