Frostbite Staff is a starter weapon that is obtained from the Pinata at the end of the tutorial. It has a slow attack rate. It casts an upgraded version of the Ice Barrage spell with no rune cost and a larger Area of Effect (AoE). It is very popular due to it being the cheapest effective AoE weapon in game, an important game mechanic which opens many doors for players looking to progress through the game.

It is currently dropped by the following Boss:

• Raiden

It can be obtained from some boxes and is a common reward from some of the new 'Goodieboxes' in the store. It can be obtained from the following boxes.

• Tactical Box
• Box of Munitions
