Corruption Surge
Corrupted Eradicator's Manifesto
The Corrupted Eradicator's Manifesto is created by adding 1 Corrupted Page to the Eradicator's Manifesto (III).
The Corrupted Eradicator's Manifesto unlocks Corruption Surges, which provide temporary combat bonuses while the book has charges remaining.
The book begins with 50 charges when it is first created. Once those charges have been consumed, players must use Corrupted Energy to recharge it.
Creating the Manifesto
After the initial 50 charges are depleted, Corrupted Energy must be added to recharge the Corrupted Eradicator's Manifesto.
How Corruption Surges Work
While the Corrupted Eradicator's Manifesto has charges remaining, every successful hit has a 1/150 chance to activate a Corruption Surge.
Every successful hit consumes 1 charge, even when a Corruption Surge does not activate.
When a Surge Activates
The 30-second Surge window effectively pauses charge consumption while the combat bonuses are active.
Surge Bonuses
Charge Behavior
| Action | Charge Behavior |
|---|---|
| Initial Creation | The book begins with 50 charges. |
| Successful Hit | Consumes 1 charge, even if a Surge does not activate. |
| Active Corruption Surge | No charges are consumed for the full 30-second duration. |
| All Charges Depleted | The book becomes dormant and only provides its base stats. |
| Corrupted Energy Added | Recharges the Corrupted Eradicator's Manifesto. |
Important: Corruption Surges can only activate while the Corrupted Eradicator's Manifesto has charges remaining. A dormant Manifesto retains its base stats but cannot activate Surges.
