GAME MODES IN DREAMSCAPE

At the moment there are 4 game modes in DreamScape: Normal, Hardcore, Iron man, and Competitive.

Normal Mode
This the standard account type in DreamScape, although it's not the most popular. Normal mode has the highest exp rate of all account types but has no drop rate bonuses right off the bat. It is extremely easy to train skills in this mode, with some skills having experience rates of tens of millions of experience per hour.

Hardcore Mode

Hardcore mode is the most popular game mode in DreamScape. Harcore accounts gain exp ten times slower than normal accounts, but gain a 15% drop rate bonus right upon account creation. Because of the high exp rates in DreamScape, you will still gain experience incredibly quickly. This account type is the most popular since you can still attain maxed combat stats in a matter of hours, and the drop rate bonus is extremely valuable.

Ironman Mode
The ironman mode in DreamScape is functionally very similar to any other you may have heard of. Ironmen gain experience at the same rate as hardcore accounts, but have a 25% drop rate bonus upon account creation. Ironman accounts cannot trade, gamble, or use player-owned-shops, but they may still purchase items from the DreamScape Web Store, which is slightly different from most ironman modes.

Competitive Mode

Competitive is DreamScape's newest game mode. Competitive mode is a seasonal game time which DreamScape began running monthly, starting in February 2019. Competitive mode accounts are functionally identical to Ironman accounts, but in competitive mode you get to compete for prizes which get awarded at the end of each month. After a season ends, competitive accounts get reverted into regular ironman accounts, but get to keep all items and stats obtained during the season. Competitive mode accounts have a lot of perks, such as getting various donator mystery boxes for completing achievements.
