There are several links to other pages in this guide; you should click each of them to learn more information regarding what is linked. Redemption has a lot of unique content and a slight learning curve; this makes the game EXTREMELY rewarding!

WARNING: This guide is extremely information dense. Feel free to ask questions in game. You will be placed in to the Help CC upon logging in. Staff Members will be in this chat and are here to help you! Feel free to ask them any questions and they will be able to assist.

ACCOUNT SECURITY NOTE

ALL accounts must have a Bank PIN. This is used to protect your items from being stolen in the event you are hacked. You will also be prompted several times via pop-up to set up two-factor authenticator (2FA); please do so ASAP. It is STRONGLY encouraged that you also check out Account Security.

COMMANDS

Check out all of Redemption's Commands prior to exploring the game. These will be useful for your adventure here.

Redemption's custom gear can make progression daunting. However, the Gear Progression guide will assist you in making the best choice for the stage of the game you are in.

Part of the early game will be ensuring that all of your equipment slots are full. Once you have done this and can comfortably manage PvM, you can start gearing for mid-game.

Progression Path

Use this page as a step-by-step gear roadmap. Start at the tier closest to your current setup, then upgrade one slot at a time as better items become available.

These tiers are general recommendations, not strict requirements. For absolute best-in-slot setups, including donation items and custom gear, see the BIS page.

Notes

  • The tiers above are general upgrade stages, not strict requirements.
  • Empty slots mean there was no specific recommended upgrade listed for that tier.
  • If you are missing a listed item, use the closest available alternative until you can upgrade.
  • Damage pets and Slayer pets are both useful; where both are shown, use the one that best fits your current goal.
  • Weapons are listed together because players may choose the weapon that matches their preferred combat style.
  • Seasonal/event-limited items are intentionally excluded from this permanent gear progression guide.

STARTER BOSSES

Starter Bosses are a way for players to tip their toes in to the PvM scene at Redemption. The bosses are straight forward and have no mechanics, but their drops and collection log make them worth doing. The armor and weapons that these bosses drop will allow the player to dive straight in to the mid to late game!

Poseidon is a magic-based stater boss that drops Poseidon Magic Armor and the Elemental Fury Staff.

Cursed Omen is a ranged-based starter boss that drops Omen Ranged Armor and the Descimator9000 and Descimator9000 Offhand.

Masterwork Warrior is a melee-based starter boss that drops Masterwork Melee Armor and the Masterwork Sword.

WORLD BOSS

The World Boss is a great method for a new player to get involved in a group activity. It spawns every 90 minutes, rotating between between mage, range, and melee. You will only be able to attack it with the style that correlates to the boss. You can get a lot of great drops like Platinum Coin, 5% ELO Booster, and much more!

PVM MASSES

PvM Masses are often hosted by the Staff Team and are a great way to earn money without worrying about dealing damage. Join The Nightmare mass, which has no requirements, for a chance to earn Nightmare Coins that can be sold on the Player Owned Shop. Join Lodsmok masses that require Slayer Prestige 1 or Elite Membership, a free 2 weeks of which can be obtained by completing Da Baby Quest. Completing Lodsmok mass will earn you Draconic Remains that can be sold in the Player Owned Shop.

EVENTS

Events are periodically hosted by the Admins and are announced in advance on Discord. You can participate in events like Reverse Flower Poker, Reverse Dice Duel, and Rare Drop Events for a chance to earn great rewards.

Reverse Flower Poker - You will face off against the host in a Flower Poker round. The player that has the WORST deal will win!

Reverse Dice Duel - You will face off against the host. The player that rolls the lowest number wins.

Rare Drop Events - An announced item drop will be awarded some sort of bonus loot.

SKILLING

If you are a skiller, the Money Tree spawns every 90 minutes and can be cut down by players with 120+ Woodcutting. The tree rewards you with Money Bags that can be sold on the Player Owned Shop or upgraded at ::upgrade into Cash Crate. To get to the Money Tree, type the command ::skilling and run east.

Tempoross is a Skilling boss that requires 60 fishing and drops valuable rewards. You can solo or group up to take on this boss.

The 2x Damage Card doubles a players damage for 20 minutes. You can get these from a lot of different monsters and boxes in game.

What are the commands?

You can find a list of all of the commands here.

What item should I aim to get first?

This is all too opinionated. If your goal is to reach end-game PvMing, then look to upgrade your gear according to the Gear Progression guide. Priority should be placed on weapons, as damage dealt is a big deal on Redemption. If your goal is to level up your slayer, then check out Slayer Tips for useful information regarding the skill.

How do I stop the two step pop up?

You really should check out Account Security. Setting up 2 Factor Authenticator is a great security measure to protect your account. The only way to stop the pop up is to set up 2FA.

I have SO many more questions. Who do I ask?

Feel free to ask any Staff Team member online. Our community is also amazing at offering advice to new players. The Help CC is an amazing place to have all of your questions asked.
