Ranged is one of the three combat classes. It involves using Shortbows, Longbows, Crossbows, Throwing Weapons, and Custom Weapons. Players that use this skill are commonly known as Rangers. In the Combat Triangle, Rangers are strongest against Mages, however, somewhat weak against Melee fighters. Therefore the Ranged skill is the best to use. The ability to attack from a distance means that a player can safe spot a Melee Monster while fighting from safety.

Because of the experience rates of Dreamscape, it is actually rather easy to achieve a 99 combat skill. It is recommended to begin your training experience at novice areas such as ::train, ::mbox, ::starterboss. Use the weapons listed above for efficient training. As a new player, stick with your starter weapon, until you have a chance to achieve/wield new weapons. |
