The Draconic Forge is a way for players to upgrade end-game items. It is located at Lodsmok's Lair. Players can get here by typing ::lod or using the Lodsok teleport on the teleport interface (ctrl+x/::bosses).
Using the Forge
The player must open the forge and then attempt an upgrade. Items required for the upgrade must be in the player's inventory.
Upgrades are NOT guaranteed to occur and items can be destroyed if not protected by an Upgrade Protection Card. There are other methods to help ensure the success of an attempt; more information on that is below.
Successful upgrades will be placed in the player's collection chest for retrieval. A message will appear alerting the player if the attempt was successful or not.
Upgrade Chance Boosts
There are two ways to boost the % chance of success through the Draconic Forge. Either using Draconic Remains or a Perfect Upgrade Ward.
Every 250 Draconic Remains will increase your chance of success by 1%. This is capped at 60% success rate.
The Perfect Upgrade Ward is an item obtainable as a drop from Lodsmok, or buyable from other players through trading or the player owned shops. It is an item which GUARANTEES 100% success rate at the Draconic Forge. To use this ward, click the desired item, and then press "Empower." After this, three options will appear in your chatbox. Press "Empower using Perfect Upgrade Ward." This will then consume the ward and you are free to upgrade your item with a 0% chance of failure.
NOTE: Double, triple, and quadruple check that "Empower" or an Upgrade Protection Card has been used. Items lost to the forge are not guaranteed to be returned if lost.
For ALL the following Upgrades you can either use an Upgrade Protection Card or Pay 15.000 Gold Coins (15 Bill) to insure you DO NOT LOSE the item upon failing.
