The AK-47 Asiimov is a great beginner range weapon. Due to the fact that it does AOE (area of effect) damage, it is incredibly strong in early multi-combat scenarios such as Revenants and the Arcade minigame. It falls a little short compared to its magic and melee counterparts, however.
The AK-47 Asiimov can be obtained obtained in-game from the ::upgrade area. It can obtained by upgrading the Platinum AK-47 from level 1 scavenger at a 10% Chance, or, at level 90 scavenger, it can be obtained directly by upgrading the Golden Ak-47 at a 2% Chance. Players can also buy it from the Slayer Level 3 Prestige store, for 12,000 Slayer Points. Completing Daily Tasks offers you a chance of getting this, as well as voting and buying it from the Vote Shop for 150 vote tickets.
The AK-47 Asiimov can also itself be upgraded into the BFG9000 at a 2% Chance, although this is not recommended as the other two "Asiimov" weapons have the same upgrade available, and the AK-47 Asiimov is slightly more expensive than either of the other two.

The AK-47 Asiimov has a 90% chance to reward the player with 100 Grinder Points at the Item Grinder, worth 10m Bronze Coins if points are traded in for Gold Coins. Important: it has a 10% chance to vanish into nothing!
The AK-47 Asiimov may be sold to the Black Market Dealer for 7m Bronze Coins.
When sacrificed to the Karma Statue, the AK-47 Asiimov returns 50k Karma EXP and 10k Karmic Kismets.
