The Fortune Drops system allows players with a relic equipped in the Relic Slot to access an additional loot table when killing certain bosses.

How it works[edit | edit source]

  • Equip a qualifying relic in your Relic Slot.
  • Kill an eligible boss.
  • On kill, the boss can roll an extra Fortune Drops loot table (separate from normal drops).

You can obtain Fortune Drops from a wide range of bosses. To see which bosses are eligible (and their current base rarity), open the boss drops view shown below.

To activate Fortune Drops, you must have a Relic Of Fortune or an Emerald Talisman of Fortune equipped.
Rarity shown is the boss's base Fortune Drop chance before any Fortune Drops Bonus modifiers are applied.

Fortune Drops Bonus[edit | edit source]

Fortune Drops Bonus increases how often a boss grants you any Fortune Drop. It improves your chance to roll the Fortune Drops table, but it does not change the odds of specific items on that table.

What Fortune Drops Bonus affects[edit | edit source]

Fortune Drops Bonus only affects the yes/no roll for whether you get a Fortune Drop.

  • Higher Fortune Drops Bonus = Fortune Drops trigger more often
  • It does not change item weighting once the table is rolled

Example[edit | edit source]

If a boss has a 1/100 chance to trigger a Fortune Drop:

  • With 0% Fortune Drops Bonus: you stay at 1/100
  • With 10% Fortune Drops Bonus: your chance becomes 1/90

What Fortune Drops Bonus does NOT affect[edit | edit source]

Fortune Drops Bonus does not affect which item you receive after a Fortune Drop triggers.

  • Item odds on the Fortune Drops Table are affected by Drop Rate (just like other boss drops)
  • Fortune Drops Bonus only affects how often you reach the Fortune Drops Table

Summary[edit | edit source]

Fortune Drops Bonus increases how often you roll the Fortune Drops Table; Drop Rate affects what you roll on that table.
