The Wells of Goodwill and Badwill are used in the Karma skill. It is the fastest method of training Karma.

For every 1 Platinum coin donated, the player will gain 500,000 experience. This will cost 4067 platinum coins to achieve ±150 Karma.

This amount can vary greatly on your Donator rank in game, current XP boosts from Fountain of Fortune, and many more things!
