| In order to defeat this boss; it is wise to use atleast Flame Torva, or American Torva if possible. It is also recommended you use at least a Royal Sicle, Ice katana, or a Spacejam as primary weapon. Its also advised having "Soulsplit" (requires 92 prayer). |

| Since the Shadow King is a boss, it is included in the Soul System, converting all common and uncommon drops into souls. The Shadow King, along with all other NPC's in Dreamscape, drop Key Fragments and Treasure Chests. |
