| Since this particular boss drains prayer, it's advised to have Flame Torva or American Torva; along with a Royal Sicle, or Ice Katana, and having "Soulsplit" (requires 92 prayer). |

| Since the Flame Pernix is a boss, it is included in the Soul System, converting all common and uncommon drops into souls. The Flame Pernix, along with all other NPC's in Dreamscape, drop Key Fragments and Treasure Chests. |
