Using the gem allows the player to open a slayer related dialogue with the following options:
*Kills left on task (also available via right click on the gem)
*Assigning a new task
*Teleportation directly to the task.
*Starting a Co-Op slayer task.

Note, outside of the Co-Op option, all of the gem's features are available via the slayer interface, accessible by using {{Color|yellow|::slayer}}, or by clicking the slayer skill in the skills tab.
